Magesi’s Reserve team has made a good start in the 2024/25 DStv Diski Challenge (DDC).
The young Dikwena Tša Meetse held the reigning DDC champions Stellenbosch FC to a 1-1 draw at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
Magesi DDC Head Coach Timothy Madia was pleased with the boys’ outing.
“They proved to me that they can play… there are lots of players that I can mention (that they did well),” said Madia, in a post match media briefing.
After matchday one, Magesi occupy fifth spot on the log and will be looking to move up the table when we host AmaZulu in our next encounter.
The match against young Usuthu is scheduled for Saturday, 7 September 2024, at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, with kick off set for 12H00.
