Magesi FC assistant coach Papi Zothwane has wished Bafana Bafana well ahead of today’s encounter against Congo Brazzaville.
Bafana will host the Central Africans at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, on Friday evening (19H00).
This is a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier and a win for Bafana will see them edge closer to qualifying for the tournament to be hosted by Morocco.
Zothwane, who played eight times for the senior national team, believes Bafana will get the job done at home.
“This is Coach Papi Zothwane from Magesi Football Club. I want to wish Bafana the best of luck for the game against Congo-Brazzaville,” he told Magesi FC’s media team.
“We trust and have faith in the abilities of our national team. In the past, they have shown they have the ability to do well. Even though they could’ve done better in the past couple of games, they have done well nonetheless,” stated Zothwane.
“I wish them nothing but the best. I know they are going to do well and as Magesi FC, we wish them the best of luck. We want them to win and qualify,” he added.
The match will be live on SABC 2.
