Magesi Football Club will continue the Betway Premiership campaign on Saturday, 7 December 2024.
Dikwena Tša Meetse will face Marumo Gallants at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein, with kick-off set for 17:45.
Just recently, Magesi FC beat Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 to win the Carling Knockout Cup in Bloemfontein, and the Free State city could prove to be a happy hunting ground for Magesi FC should we collect maximum points against Marumo Gallants.

Magesi FC lost the previous league clash, going down 2-0 to Chippa United in East London, and against Marumo, it could be regarded as an opportunity to make amends.
Papi Zothwane, who serves as Magesi FC’s assistant coach, has explained why the team didn’t do well against Chippa United but also believes there could be a turnaround with a win against Marumo.
“After the Carling Knockout, we had one day to prepare for our next league match, which we lost to Chippa. We went on a trophy parade, and we visited the Chief (Kgoshi Kgabo Moloto III) and the community. It was a big celebration after we made history, and it was well-deserved,” said Zothwane.

“Now we have to forget about the Carling Knockout and keep our eyes on the league program… We wanted to keep on winning, but it was not to be. Our priority is to dwell in the league and to remain in the PSL—we do not want to be fighting relegation.
“We are playing Marumo Gallants this Saturday, and we hope that we will bounce back.”
