DIKWENA HOST USUTHU

In a highly anticipated clash, Magesi FC is set for a battle with AmaZulu on Saturday, 11 January 2025.

Dikwena Tša Meetse will host the KwaZulu-Natal side at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane, with kick scheduled for 15:30.

This will be Magesi FC’s 12th Betway Premiership outing of the season, with a crucial three points at stake.

So far this season, Magesi FC has only played four League matches in our own backyard, drawing two and losing the other two.

Should we win against AmaZulu, it will not only make it our first League win on our own turf but also secure the much-needed three points to steer clear of the relegation zone.

Magesi FC captain Elvis Chipezeze has backed the team to come right, despite some recent tough results. “It’s just a phase; you know in football you’ve got the highs and the lows,” Chipezeze said.

“I remember last season when we were in the Motsepe Foundation Championship. When we got to December, we struggled in some games, and I feel like history is repeating itself.”In front of the Blue Nation, Magesi FC would be expected to fight on all fronts to get the maximum points.

Meanwhile, center-back Lehlogonolo Mokone remains suspended after his red card against Orlando Pirates recently.

The tickets for the match are available at TicketPro.
