Magesi FC has suffered a defeat at home to AmaZulu, going down 1-0 at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Dikwena Tša Meetse conceded in the second half during the clash in Polokwane on Saturday, 11 January 2025.
The home side showed hunger in the first half and could have taken the lead before the interval, but Wonderboy Makhubu’s strike was over the crossbar.
AmaZulu’s goal eight minutes into the second stanza appeared to take the fight out of Owen Da Gama’s boys and chances were far and few between, until the final whistle.
Magesi FC will go back to the drawing board in preparation for the next Betway Premiership clash, which will be against Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday, 22 January 2025, at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium (19H30).
