In a repeat of the Carling Knockout Final, Magesi FC will host Mamelodi Sundowns in a League clash on Wednesday, 22 January 2025.
Dikwena Tša Meetse will meet the Brazilians at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in a Betway Premiership clash, which will kick off at 19H30.
It’s the battle of the champions, as the reigning Carling Knockout champions, Magesi FC, welcome the reigning League champions, Sundowns, to Polokwane.
The two sides last met exactly two months ago when Magesi FC triumphed, beating Sundowns 2-1 in the League Cup final in Bloemfontein.
In the Betway Premiership, Magesi FC remains bottom, but just a win away from the relegation zone. On the other hand, the visitors, Sundowns, top the standings almost halfway into the 2024/25 season.
Magesi FC has played five League games at home, registering two draws and three defeats.
Owen Da Gama’s men will, therefore, be looking for our first home League win this season.
