One of Magesi FC’s brightest young stars, Thato Mpati, has received a national call up.
Mpati, who plays for our DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team, is amongst 38 players that have been called up by SA U20 Coach, Raymond Mdaka, ahead of the CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations from 26 April – 18 May, 2025 in Ivory Coast.
“A big congratulations to Thato ‘Mshishi’ Mpati from our DDC team for being called up to the U20 AFCON 2025 Preliminary squad. Proud of you, lad 👏🏾!,” stated Magesi FC in a statement.
Coach Mdaka will trim down the squad from 38 to 26 players before the start of the tournament.
