
Magesi FC has returned to winning ways, beating Cape Town City 2-0 in Seshego, Polokwane.
Dikwena Tša Meetse picked up the second win of their Betway Premiership campaign with a win against the Citizens on Saturday, 8 February 2025.
The win moved Magesi FC to 15th on the PSL standings with 11 points from 16 matches.
Mcedi Vandala scored from the spot kick in the first stanza, before Lehlohonolo Mtshali added a second with seventeen minutes remaining, to seal the all-important win.
City dominated possession from the first whistle, but Magesi FC fought back.

Thabang Sibanyoni replaced the injured Wonderboy Makhubu after just 27 minutes and made an immediate impact when he was brought down in the box and earned a penalty.
Vandala stepped up, kept his cool and fired home to give us a lead.
In the second half, Magesi continued to show some great fight and it came as no surprise when the home side found the second goal, coming from Mtshali, who netted his first goal since joining the club recently.
On Tuesday, 18 February 2025, we will be up against Polokwane City.
