Magesi FC has completed a double over Mamelodi Sundowns in the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC).
Dikwena Tša Meetse beat the young Brazilians 1-0 on Sunday, 9 March 2025, at the Seshego Stadium.
Neo Ntombela scored the all-important goal in the 67th minute, to guide Magesi to victory.
This was Magesi DDC’s second win over Sundowns in this competition this season.
In the first round clash, Magesi won 2-1 away back in September 2024.
The win in Seshego – our fourth of the season – moved us to 11th spot on the log standings.
Magesi DDC will be away to Stellenbosch on Saturday, 15 March 2025.
