DA GAMA POINTS TO MAGESI FC STRENGTH

Magesi FC head coach Owen Da Gama has paid a glowing tribute to the club.

‘ODG,’ as he’s known in football circles, has been with Dikwena Tša Meetse since the beginning of the year, and with him in charge, Magesi FC has moved up to 11th spot on the Betway Premiership standings.

Incredibly, Magesi FC has won five straight home games, showing a great fighting spirit in a difficult league.

Da Gama has shared his thoughts on the team’s progress.

“We’ve been working hard. We really have been working hard. You know the limitations you have, and you know where they come from. You know, getting out of the bottom, you know the load of the PSL is on top of you,” stated Da Gama.

“Everyone seems to trample you, and I spoke to the players, and I said, ‘Guys, there may be teams that are far better than us, but there are very few that work as hard as you.’

“At Magesi, our strength is working as a collective, and everybody puts in their bit. Everyone contributes, and that is our strength as Magesi FC,” he added.

Magesi FC will be back in action when we host TS Galaxy at Seshego Stadium on 20 April 2025.
