Playing on our home turf, Magesi FC had to dig deep to salvage a point against AmaZulu on Saturday, 30 August 2025.
Dikwena Tลกa Meetse entertained Usuthu at Seshego Stadium in a Betway Premiership clash, and heading into the final minute of regulation time with the visitors leading 1-0, John Mokone headed home for the equalizer.
The visitors took an early lead after 17 minutes, with Dikwena conceding from a corner kick.
Magesi FC had a great chance to level matters before the interval, with Kgomotso Mosadi crossing to find Wonderboy Makhubu in the 43rd minute, but the latter couldn’t hit the target with his effort.
The hosts continued the fight in the second half and with time running out, Mokone found himself unmarked at the far post, and the defender scored with a stooping header for 1-1.
