Magesi Football Club put up a great fight against Durban City, but it wasn’t enough to collect any points.
Dikwena Tša Meetse met the hosts at the Chatsworth Stadium, Durban, on Saturday, 27 September 2025, in the Betway Premiership.
Wonderboy Makhubu’s 29th-minute header gave Magesi FC a 1-0 lead by the interval, but the team went on to concede three goals in the second half to lose 3-1.
Magesi FC are now placed 15th on the standings and will only return to league action after the FIFA international break when we host TS Galaxy at the Seshego Stadium on 18 October 2025.
