Magesi FC captain Elvis Chipezeze has been included in Zimbabwe’s senior national team to play Bafana Bafana and Lesotho this month.
Zimbabwe will be participating in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers and despite the fact that they are out of the running to qualify, Warriors coach Michael Nees has picked a strong squad.
The Warriors are bottom of Group C with four points from eight matches, while Benin and Bafana Bafana are first and second, respectively.
Chipezeze caught the eye with some great performances for Dikwena Tša Meetse last season, culminating in a recall to the national team after an eight-year absence.
Now he’s maintained his place in the team, justifying his recall.
