Magesi Football Club has announced the team’s first five fixtures of the 2026-27 Motsepe Foundation Championship season.
Dikwena tša Meetse will be campaigning in the second tier of South African football with the club’s objective being to win promotion back to the Betway Premiership.
Magesi FC will open the season with an away clash against Midlands Wanderers on Saturday, 22 August 2026. The match will be played at the Mpumalanga Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal.
Kabelo Sibiya’s men will then entertain The Bees in our first match at home on Friday, 28 August 2026. This match will take place at Seshego Stadium.
In the third match of the season, Magesi FC will travel to Pretoria where we will take on Leicesterford City at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday, 5 September 2026.
Magesi FC will again be the away team in the fourth match against Highbury FC, which is scheduled for Friday, 11 September 2026, at the Nelson Mandela University Stadium.
The team will return home to face Hungry Lions on Saturday, 19 September 2026, at Seshego Stadium.
