Magesi captain Elvis Chipezeze featured again for Zimbabwe’s senior national team in the current FIFA international week.
The 35-year-old was in action between the sticks when the Warriors narrowly lost 2-1 to DR Congo in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
The match took place at Zimbabwe’s National Stadium on Monday, 28 September 2026. Chipezeze was making his second appearance in a row after also playing in the 3-2 win over Sierra Leone.
The National Stadium was hosting a match for the first time in five years following renovations.
Chipezeze and company will be hoping to qualify for next year’s AFCON.
The Warriors are currently second on the log behind DR Congo after two matches.
