Magesi FC has proved to be unbeatable at the Seshego Stadium and head coach, Owen Da Gama, is pleased.
Dikwena Tša Meetse have achieved six consecutive league wins at Seshego and the results have moved Magesi FC to the 10th spot on the Betway Premiership standings.
“Six wins are not enough, you know. You have to win at least 12 games, and then you can say it is a slaughterhouse,” reflected Da Gama.
“But we have been doing well here. We are the only team playing here, so that gives us the freedom to know that it is our home ground,” he continued.
Da Gama and all associated with Magesi FC would be hoping for this form to continue when we host Sekhukhune United at the same venue on Saturday, 3 May 2025.
“We have been waiting for a long time (to play at Seshego) because we found it very difficult to win at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. The reason we found it so difficult to win games at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium is that there are so many teams playing there. So, you are just another visitor there.
“But when it is here (Seshego Stadium), we know that this is our home ground, and we need to work hard to make the people of Seshego, Polokwane, and Limpopo as a whole very proud.”
