DDC team suffers second defeat

Magesi FC’s DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team will go back to the drawing board following a 1-0 defeat to Richards Bay on Saturday, 19 October 2024.

Timothy Madia’s charges welcomed the KwaZulu Natal outfit to the Global Stadium in Lebowakgomo, hoping to get back into the top eight.

It wasn’t to be, though, as the young Dikwena suffered only their second defeat of the season in eight matches.

The DDC mentor, Madia, will be hoping the boys can shrug off the defeat quickly and turn their attention to Golden Arrows, who is our next opponent.

Arrows will host Magesi DDC on Saturday, 26 October 2024, and our media team will communicate the details regarding venue and kickoff time in due course.

Despite the setback against Richards Bay, Magesi DDC is certainly not far off the pace, with the season being in its early days, and also, there is not much difference between the teams in terms of points.

The next clash against Arrows will also provide Magesi DDC with a tough challenge, considering Arrows are desperately looking for points as they are one of the bottom sides.
