Magesi FC’s pursuit of another Carling Knockout title will take us to the Orlando Stadium where we will face Orlando Pirates on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.
Dikwena Tša Meetse and the Buccaneers will clash at 19H00, in what is the quarter-finals of the competition, otherwise known as the League Cup.
Magesi FC are the defending champions following last season’s triumph that saw us beat Pirates [3-2, last 16], TS Galaxy [1-0, quarter-finals], Richards Bay [1-0, semi-finals] and Mamelodi Sundowns [2-1, final] to bring the trophy home.
This is a highly anticipated clash considering the two sides are meeting for the second time in this competition, after the dramatic scenes at Orlando last year.
Against all odds, Magesi FC triumphed 3-2 on 19 October 2024 in the last 16, with the Blue Nation’s pride and joy going on to win the tournament.
Fast forward to 28 October 2025 and we are back in Orlando, while the football-loving nation awaits what could potentially be another thrilling clash.
