DIKWENA HOPE FOR A REPEAT PERFORMANCE

Back in November last year, Magesi FC met Richards Bay and triumphed 1-0 in a Carling Knockout semi-finals clash played at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Fast forward to three months later, the two sides meet again, this time in the Betway Premiership at the same venue on Friday, 31 January 2025, with the match set to kick off at 19H30.

Dikwena Tša Meetse will be hoping for a repeat performance to get the maximum points to move to a better position.

Magesi FC and Richards Bay are placed 16th and 14th on the PSL standings, respectively. This match has been billed as a six-pointer considering the positions of the two teams.

Head Coach Owen Da Gama has maintained his stance, that the team is fighting on all fronts to pick up points and move up the table.

“The boys are playing with a lot of pressure. When you are down there, there’s a lot of pressure, but these boys are fighting to get out there,” said Da Gama recently, in a show of confidence to the team.

Best of luck to Dikwena Tša Meetse.
