Limpopo’s pride and joy Magesi Football Club has been commended for the gallant effort in the 2024 Carling Knockout.
Three days after winning the cup by beating Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in Bloemfontein, Dikwena Tša Meetse went on a trophy tour on Tuesday, 26 November 2024, and one of the highlights was a visit to the residence of His Majesty, Kgoši Kgabo Moloto III.
Expressing his delight at Magesi FC’s biggest moment, His Majesty heaped praise on the team during the welcome at the royal palace.
His Majesty noted that Magesi FC’s success will have a long-lasting positive effect on the community, especially the young girls and boys who dream of making it big in the future and follow in the steps of the current generation of Magesi FC stars.
Magesi Football Club, in its entirety, would like to express its gratitude to His Majesty Kgoši Kgabo Moloto III for the warm welcome and words of inspiration.
