Magesi FC’s much talked about win over Orlando Pirates is a clear indication of where the team is going.
This is the view of Head Coach Clinton Larsen, who guided Dikwena Tša Meetse to the Carling Knockout Quarterfinals, beating Orlando Pirates 3-2.
It goes without saying that football fans all over will expect the same from the team going forward.
Our League campaign resumes with a trip to the Western Cape to challenge Cape Town City in a DStv Premiership encounter, billed for Saturday, 27 October 2024, at Athlone Stadium (15HOO).
The team has also booked a place in the last eight of the Carling Knockout, and we have drawn TS Galaxy, with the venue and date yet to be confirmed for this clash.
Larsen is looking forward to more great performances, just as is expected by our supporters, the ‘Blue Nation’.
“It just allows us to dream as a club; that’s all we can do. We must try to win the next game and see where that takes us,” says Larsen.
“We will try to create an upset against all odds, and hopefully, if we can put in performances like the one against Orlando Pirates on a weekly basis, we will develop into a competitive team,” he adds.
