Magesi DDC back in action

Magesi FC will be looking to get back into the top eight when we host Chippa United on Saturday, 12 October, in a DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) clash.

The match will take place at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. Kickoff is at 10:00.

The Young Dikwena lost a bit of ground despite managing a credible goalless draw against Orlando Pirates last weekend in the Vaal.

Heading into the Pirates match, Magesi DDC was placed eighth on the log standings but dropped down to 10th.

A win over Chippa United will see the boys certainly get back into the top eight.

One of the interesting things about Magesi DDC has been the team’s ability to defend as a unit. As a result, Magesi DDC boost the third-best defence in the League with just four goals conceded in six outings, only behind Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu, who have both let in three goals.

Magesi DDC has been focusing on finishing at training as the boys look to get the goals and move up the table.

This will be put to the test as we host the ‘Chilli Boys’ and our head coach, Timothy Madia, is convinced that it’s only a matter of time before the boys find the net on a regular basis.

Entry is free. Come support the boys.
