Magesi DDC maintains unbeaten run

Four games into the DStv Diski Challenge 2024/25 campaign, Magesi FC has continued its fine run.

Timothy Madia’s boys were on the brink of earning maximum points against Polokwane City on Sunday, 22 September, but couldn’t hold on as the hosts equalised as the two sides played to a 1-1 draw, at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium,

Clement Moshwana led by example, as captain of Magesi DDC, with his strike giving us a 1-0 lead at the interval.

Magesi continued where they left off by again dominating play in the second half and Polokwane City were reduced to 10 players for dangerous play.

Our boys had it all under control, until they conceded a penalty in the 70th minute, which City duly converted to make it 1-1.

Magesi closed off the encounter on a sour note, with the skipper, Moshwana, getting his marching orders for retaliation.

Our young guns are sixth on the log after four matches.
