In what was expected to be a very difficult match, Magesi FC has added a point to its tally following a goalless draw with Richards Bay.
The Betway Premiership clash took place at the King Zwelithini Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal on Friday, 31 January 2025.
Dikwena Tša Meetse could have been ahead in the early stages, but WonderBoy Makhubu was denied by Richards Bay goalkeeper, Salim Magoola.
Half an hour into match, it was stopped briefly due to load shedding and there were no goals until the interval, after play resumed.
The second half turned up the same script, with Magesi FC going all out for a win, only to be denied.
In the end, Owen Da Gama’s men settled for a point away.In the next match, Magesi FC will host Chippa United at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday, 4 February 2025.
