Magesi FC and Cape Town City have played to a goalless draw at Athlone Stadium.
Dikwena Tša Meetse battled it out with the Citizens in a Betway Premiership clash on Sunday afternoon, 27 October 2024, and in the end, there was nothing to separate the two sides.
The share of the spoils means Magesi FC are now unbeaten in three League outings, with the team on the up in terms of performance.
As expected, the hosts fancied their chances from the onset and attacked in numbers, but Magesi FC put on a disciplined display to contain them throughout the 90 minutes.
Experienced campaigner Deolin Mekoa had a chance later on but couldn’t find the breakthrough, as the two sides settled for a point each.
Club head coach Clinton Larsen, as well as the whole team, would be pleased to have added a point to our tally.
Thus far, Magesi FC has picked up five points from the same number of matches.
