Despite the difficult start to the season, Magesi Football Club remains upbeat as our Betway Premiership season continues.
Dikwena Tša Meetse will make the trip to KwaZulu-Natal to face Golden Arrows on Wednesday, 25 September.
The match against ‘Abafana Bes’thende’ will be played at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammarsdale, with kick off set for 19H30.
This clash comes on the back of our two defeats to Sekhukhune United (0-1) and Polokwane City (0-2).

“It’s work in progress and it’s important that we start putting points on the board, so that we keep the pressure off the players. Because, the first people that feel the pressure are the players. So yeah, a lot of work ahead of us,” says Magesi FC Head Coach, Clinton Larsen.
The match against Golden Arrows represents an opportunity for Magesi to get our first ever win in the top-flight and according to Larsen, it’s time to redeem ourselves.
“It’s nice that the next game comes some days (after the last match), so you don’t have to wait too long to try and rectify matters.”
Larsen is confident that his boys would get it right sooner rather than later.

“We will keep growing with every game, you know. We just have to make sure we put points on the board early so that the pressure doesn’t mount on the players and the club. That is our aim in the next two or three games to make sure we do just that, but yeah, just getting on the training field and working on our shortcomings,” he adds.
“We will try to put the strongest team out there to fight for the points in Durban.”
