Magesi FC Head Coach Kabelo Sibiya has expressed confidence about the team’s ambition to return to the top-flight.
The club appointed Sibiya to the position recently, and in his first interaction with the media, the gaffer said he’s looking forward to the Motsepe Foundation Championship 2026/27 campaign, with the club’s objective being to win promotion.
“I am aware of the responsibility and the pressure that comes with this opportunity to take Magesi back into the top flight,” said Sibiya.
“I promise that we will work extremely hard to make sure that the club is back in the Betway Premiership by the end of this season.”
Furthermore, Sibiya, who was speaking alongside Director of Football Morgan Mammila, added that he’s happy with the quality of the players at his disposal.
“Honestly, there are some good players that were with the club last season, and some of them have promoted the club before when the club was in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, so they give me confidence because they’ve done it before,” Sibiya added.
