Magesi FC have avoided direct relegation from the Betway Premiership after they defeated Richards Bay 1-0 at the Seshego Stadium on Saturday, 23 May 2026. Dikwena tsa Meetse secured the victory thanks to a second-half penalty from Mcedi Vandala and the result lifted Magesi FC from last place to 15th on the log. Magesi FC will be hard at work this week behind-the-scenes in preparation for the last match of the season against Richards Bay. Dikwena Tsa Meetse will host the Natal Rich Boyz at the Seshego Stadium on Saturday, 23 May 2026. The match is scheduled to kick off at 15H00. In the first round meeting in September 2025, Richards Bay edged Magesi FC 1-0, in a match played in KwaZulu Natal.
