Magesi FC will turn its full focus to league action after exiting the 2026 Nedbank Cup in the round of 32. Dikwena Tša Meetse were in action on Saturday, 7 February 2026, when we lost 5-4 on penalties to Upington City, following a goalless 120 minutes. Left-back Tshegofatso Nyama has been confirmed as Magesi FC’s latest signing. Magesi FC officially announced the arrival of the 26-year-old on Wednesday, 4 February 2026. Nyama joins Dikwena Tša Meetse from Western Cape side, Cape Town City. He also previously played for Mpumalanga outfit TS Galaxy and boasts 111 appearances in South Africa’s top-flight. On our return to Betway Premiership action, Magesi FC met Orlando Pirates in Soweto, and lost 2-0 to the hosts on Saturday, 31 January 2026. This fixture has proved to be an exciting affair and it was no surprise when the tickets were sold out ahead of the match.
